Hirsch #7 Straight Gouge – 8mm

Hirsch carving tools are regarded by many as Europe’s finest woodcarving tools. Hand-forged of Germany’s finest high carbon tool steel and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 61, these tools will remain sharp during long periods of demanding professional use. They are finely polished inside and the bevel is carefully ground. Some honing may be necessary before use.
Each tool is fitted with a large octagonal handle providing an exceptionally powerful and sturdy grip. Overall length averages 11″.
