Radius Bits are used to create prefect radii on edge banding. Match the radius to the thickness of the edge banding used. Each bit uses two four-sided replaceable carbide cutters. When the bit gets dull, just rotate the cutter 90° and keep on cutting. After using all four sides, replace the cutters at a fraction of the price of a new bit.
The best tool for radiusing edge banding is the Festool MFK 700 EQ/B Edge Banding Router , but any router that takes 8mm shank bits will work.
